Fateme Ghasemi is a computer scientist, researcher, and photographer whose work bridges analytical precision with artistic vision. She holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from McMaster University, where she achieved a perfect GPA (4.0/4.0) and conducted research in computability theory under Prof. Jeffery Zucker. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Tehran, where she was admitted with entrance‑exam exemption and ranked among the top students nationally.
Fateme has extensive teaching experience at McMaster University and the University of Tehran, serving as a Teaching Assistant for courses in discrete mathematics, automata and computability, logic, programming, and mathematical foundations. She has led tutorials, developed rubrics and solutions, supported hybrid learning environments, and provided academic guidance to classes of more than 250 students.
Her industry experience includes working as an Associate Researcher at Huawei Technologies Canada, contributing to property‑based testing frameworks in C++ and Java, and as a Back End Developer at Afarinesh, where she designed databases, implemented RESTful APIs, performed zero‑downtime migrations, and integrated payment systems into large‑scale software projects.
Alongside her academic and technical work, Fateme is an accomplished photographer, specializing in portraiture, event photography, and artistic documentary work.
